Every Halloween the Wyoming State Museum hosts a trick-or-treat event that is attended by hundreds of local families. Kids show up in costume to "trick-or-treat" around the museum, meeting historic Wyoming characters that are played by volunteers.
The role requires somewhat outgoing personalities who are comfortable acting as a character from Wyoming's past. They'll be provided with a costume as well as talking points and even items from our museum collection that they can show off. Families love meeting the characters and asking them about their lives. The event will be on Sunday, October 30 from 12:00-4:00 pm. Volunteers will have a break half way through their shift, and we'll have pizza for them to eat!
