During winter break, many of our interns return home for the holidays. To accommodate this, we are extending the volunteer shifts over the two-week period, allowing you to learn more and gain hands-on experience. Although the volunteer shifts will be longer, if you have any other requests, please reach out to asstdirector@downtownclinic.org.
These volunteer shifts focus on general support tasks, which include checking in and out patients, submitting medication refill requests on behalf of patients, faxing documents, answering phone calls, and directing them as needed, along with other general reception duties.
There are also opportunities to support nonprofit marketing and stewardship, including managing social media and fostering donor relationships.
