University of Wyoming – Farm Work Day at The Goat Ladies
Join us for a fun and hands-on Farm Work Day at J & J Second Chance Small Holdings (The Goat Ladies)! This is a great opportunity to experience life on a working farm and help care for our rescued animals while learning about animal welfare, farm operations, and community outreach.
Date & Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: 417 Schultz Road, Rock River, WY 82083
What to Expect:
Hands-on farm work with our goats, mini horses, mini donkeys, mini highland cows, and more.
Assisting with feeding, cleaning, and general farm chores.
Fun learning about rescue operations and animal care.

All tools and supplies needed for farm activities.
What to Bring / Wear:
Appropriate clothing for farm work (long pants recommended).
Closed-toed shoes or boots — farm work can get muddy, and animals may step on toes!
A willing attitude and energy — you will get dirty, so be prepared!
Additional Notes:
We do give you 1 hour of drive time since we are outside of Laramie.
This is a working rescue farm, so safety around animals is essential. Listen to instructions and follow guidance from our staff.
Hydration and sunscreen are recommended if the weather is sunny.
Volunteers under 18 must have a parent/guardian waiver signed prior to participation.
