VITA is a Free Tax Program provided by United Way of Albany County in partnership with the University of Wyoming. Receptionist will help run the reception table. VITA is on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings at the South Gym at the Laramie Plains Civic Center.
Tasks include:
- Setup and take down of the reception area
- Checking in guests
- Keeping track of check-ins
- Helping answer general questions (receptionist does not answer any tax questions).
Volunteer will have to pass a VITA Volunteer Quiz prior to first shift. We request that volunteers sign up at least 24 hours prior to their shift start time.
If you would like to volunteer but can't work the full shift, please contact United Way to set up a half shift.
