Ready to make a difference in the lives of young learners while you grow personally and professionally?
Through the SAE A World In Motion® (AWIM®) AmeriCorps program, service members have the power to make a difference and change the lives of PreK-12 students throughout Wyoming communities. This unique service opportunity expands vital access to STEM education for young learners to help them discover their full potential and succeed in future education, careers, and life.
Service members receive a living allowance and are eligible to earn the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award. Upcoming service cohorts will work with school and community-based organization site partners based in Albany, Laramie, and Natrona counties.
SAE’s STEM curriculum enables students to connect classroom learning with real-life application and develop the 21st century skills needed to succeed in real-world work environments. SAE’s STEM programs have reached more than 6 million students worldwide and engaged more than 30,000 STEM industry professionals as volunteers. SAE is the only organization with a comprehensive continuum of Pre-K through College Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education programs.
