Volunteer: Hotline AdvocateOur biggest need is for volunteers willing to work our 24-hour hotline. We ask our advocates to take two 12-hour hotline shifts each month. Hotline advocates are able to do normal day to day activities with only an extra cell phone to carry and respond to. Calls may be anything from crisis intervention, to hospital advocacy, to shelter clients asking questions. All volunteers must complete a state-mandated 40 hour training. Training provides information needed to assist survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and child abuse. Training is offered in Spring, Summer and Fall each year. To become a volunteer, fill out the application on our website. www.safeproject.org/volunteer-opportunities Agency: SAFE Project Our biggest need is for volunteers willing to work our 24-hour hotline.
