Join us for a rewarding cleanup opportunity!  This effort focuses on keeping our communities grassy areas and trails clean by removing pet wase left behind by visitors.  Many people enjoy bringing their dogs here, but not everyone remembers to clean up after them.  

By volunteering, you'll create a cleaner, more enjoyable space for everyone--two-legged and four-legged visitors alike.

This volunteer cleanup site is heavily littered, primarily due to wind-blown debris from the nearby Wal-Mart property.  the area is scattered with various types of trash, making it a prim location for a dedicated cleanup effort.  Interestingly, alongside the usual litter, volunteers may occasionally find cash among the debris.  Your efforts in restoring this area will make a significant impact on the environment and local community!

This volunteer opportunity focuses on cleaning up windblown litter in the open fields near 22nd and Harney Street. The area includes a dog park, which would also benefit from the removal of pet waste to create a cleaner, more inviting space for the community to enjoy. Your efforts will help enhance the overall appearance and usability of this popular neighborhood spot.  Follow this map link for a look at the area.

Winters in Laramie can mean cold weather, that famous Wyoming wind, and heaps of snow. Many citizens of Laramie struggle to maintain their driveways and sidewalks during this time of the year and could use a helping hand. If you want to help keep our citizens safe and help those who may not be able to shovel snow themselves, this opportunity is for you!

Winter weather can be unpredictable, and unfortunately there is no set schedule for snow. This opportunity will be a flexible opportunity, with locations needing snow shoveling being updated as requests come in. If you would like to participate in this volunteer opportunity, please respond to this opportunity and the City will reach out to work out where you can provide your valuable time and effort to help those in need. 

The City of Laramie has a limited supply of snow shovels that can be loaned to volunteers during the Winter months.
