This site is hosted by The Lincoln Community Center.
Volunteers will be working on:
- Raking leaves and sticks around the whole city-block property
- Pulling weeds and cleaning up flower beds
- Pulling weeds and cleaning up around the trees
- Trimming bushes (and removing a few)
- Cleaning out and painting raised beds
- Painting in the Cafe and Multipurpose Room
- Caring for tables and chairs - tightening screws and refinishing tables in the cafe
On the day of the Big Event, volunteers will meet their Site Leader at this location at 10am to begin volunteering. The site recommends parking in the public lot next to Coal Creek on Front Street. Tools and materials (including gloves) will be at the site.
The Big Event is open to UW student, staff, and faculty volunteers. Users must be logged in with an account associated with a UWYO email address (@uwyo.edu) in order to Respond to this opportunity.
