Opportunity Description:
Help patients safely and efficiently receive their medications by serving as a Medication Pick-Up Support Volunteer. In this role, you’ll assist during medication pick-up hours by checking out medications to patients, recording information in the electronic health record (EHR), and supporting the pharmacy team with organization and data entry.

Responsibilities:

Work at the front desk during medication pick-up hours (Thursdays, 4:50–6:00 PM)

Verify patient information (name and date of birth) before dispensing medications

Notify the pharmacy team if patients have questions about their prescriptions

Check medications out in the EHR system

Help organize medications on site

Occasionally assist with entering filled medications into the EHR

Time Commitment:
Thursdays from 4:50–6:00 PM
