Who We Are

The Eppson Center is a nonprofit senior activity center whose purpose is to provide those 60+ years of age in our community support for independent living through programs that enhance their quality of life.

What We Do

We offer no or low-cost activities, educational and wellness programs, exercise, art and music. Meals are provided on-site Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. We also offer home-delivered, meals, entertainment and transportation in Laramie. The Eppson Center has a loan closet with durable medical equipment and incontinence supplies available to the community at large, free of charge.

A variety of volunteer opportunities exist, including, but not limited to:

  • Leading an activity (exercise class, arts and crafts)

  • Help with special events (set-up, clean-up, food prep. and service)

  • Technology help (for patrons)

  • Nutrition services (serving lunch, general kitchen and dining room help, washing dishes, driving for a Home-Delivered Meal route)

  • Landscaping

  • Maintenance

  • Odd jobs (varies as needed, but may include reception help, decorating, organizing)

  • Internships

  • Joining a committee (fundraising, facilities, outreach, Dollar a Month Club, etc.)
